What we are Advocating
Nutrition Inside Prison (NIP) is an advocating program under Corcoran Recovery Center! Its old news that you starve in prisons, and jails. Our Program Director Rachel is passionate about helping incarcerated individuals having nutritional diets made available to them. All ages of different types of individuals from all over the world lack nutrients in food provided by California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. We need reform in all areas of CDCR, especially the food with high MSG Monosodium Glutamate which causes headaches, and more food options should be made available to them such as greens, fruits, and real meat with non-processed meet partnered up with surrounding vendors to help communities.
